Racial Wealth Gap Put Americans On Uneven Financial Footing Heading Into Pandemic, Fed Survey Finds
The average Black family had less than 15% of the wealth of white families in 2019, despite an overall rise in household wealth in the past three years, according to the Federal Reserve’s Survey of Consumer Finances released Monday.
