Remembering Actor Alan Thicke

Alan Thicke died Tuesday at the age of 69.

The actor was best remembered for his role on “Growing Pains,” a sitcom that aired on ABC for seven seasons. But his TV career began in Canada, and he wrote the theme songs for a number of hit TV shows, including “Diff’rent Strokes” and “Facts of Life.”
