Amy Rigby's latest songs are full of ex-wives, needy men and messy, modern love.
The artist who best known for 1996's Diary of a Mod Housewife is back with Little Fugitive. Co-produced by Rigby, the project took her back to New York City for a two-day recording session. She came of age with the New York punk scene and put out Mod Housewife there.
In a bio on her Web site, Rigby summarizes her feelings about the setting for this CD: "Going back to New York was like putting back together the pieces of my past and wondering, who am I going be for the rest of my life?"
