November 2017 - TPR has earned the highest ratings from both Charity Navigator and GuideStar. Ratings are based upon the organization’s financial health, commitment to accountability and transparency.
The largest source of nonprofit information, GuideStar gave TPR its Platinum Nonprofit Profile of Transparency, an achievement reached by less than 0.10% of all organizations in the agency’s data. To reach GuideStar’s Platinum level, TPR provides comprehensive information including, in-depth financial information, qualitative information goals, strategies, and capabilities, as well as quantitative data about results and progress toward our mission. The other major independent evaluator of charities, Charity Navigator also awarded TPR with its highest grade for fiscal responsibility. To achieve Charity Navigator’s 4-star rating, TPR was evaluated against 17 metrics, focused on accountability, financial health, governance, ethical practices, and openness. This set of criteria demonstrates a charity’s utilization of industry best practices and openness with donors and stakeholders.
