The Source: Death Cafes In San Antonio Allow People To Unburden

Death is not a popular topic of conversation in America, but a movement is afoot to change all that. Death Cafes want to make the taboo commonplace when it comes to death. Palliative care, hospice, the stress of caregiving, and all the other aspects of death-either our own or a loved ones-are up for discussion over coffee.

There is one going on this Saturday, August 8th at La Taza Coffee House (15060 San Pedero Ave). We talk with the organizer to find out why people avoid the topic of death.
