American Choral Directors Association convention in Dallas
Three composers recently sat down with John Clare to discuss new music, choral music, and what it's like working as a composer in the 21st century.
- Roxanna Panufnikis a composer living in London, UK and has a new release, Love Abide.
- Ben Parryis a composer who has performed with the Swingle Singers, and is the director of the National Youth Choirs of Great Britain.
- JAC Redford is a composer who is based in Los Angeles, working in both the classical and film worlds. Most recently he arranged and conducted Adele’s Oscar-winning title song for Skyfall.
The topics ranged from marketing new music, finding poetry, and being in an audience of choral experts listening to world-class singers.
