In the first segment:

The announcement that CPS Energy is considering changing the amount of money it would reimburse its solar generating customers - cutting it by nearly 40 percent - caused more than a stir in the solar community.

CPS Energy said the idea is to address the hidden costs of solar generation, which is system infrastructure, a cost that they have been covering. Longtime solar advocates Solar San Antonio quickly went on the offensive, calling the move outrageous and in bad faith, and are offering a counterproposal of studying the issue with CPS to establish alternatives.

Cris Eugster, the chief strategy and technology officer at CPS Energy, and Lanny Sinkin, executive director of Solar San Antonio, join us to talk about the new SunCredit program.

There is a public forum to discuss the SunCredit at the Villita Assembly Building on May 3 from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Click here to learn more.

The Mental Health Court of Bexar County's docket has been going for 5 years.  We talk about the need for such a court with current MHC Judge Scott Roberts and MHC founding Judge Michael Mery.

We learn more about the origins of the court, the necessity of such specialty courts, and how they continue to serve an often misunderstood segment of society to end a revolving door of incarceration.
