Voting On Election Day? Here's How You Can Stay Safe In Bexar County

Rubber tips called “finger cots” will be available to Bexar County voters on Election Day.  

Elections Administrator Jacque Callanen said voters should have their forms of ID removed from wallets and purses before approaching election workers.

After voters are checked in, they will be given their choice of hand coverings.

Plastic gloves are another option, as are pencils to separate voters from touch screens.

Hand sanitizer and social distancing markers will also be present, but Callanen said the most important thing voters can do to protect themselves and election workers is to wear masks.

Voters may cast a ballot at any polling site in the county on Election Day.
