Handel's 'Messiah' Wasn't Just For Christmas

Though George Frederic Handel’s oratorio “Messiah” has become a Christmas staple, it was originally performed at Easter.

Here & Now‘s Robin Young takes a closer listen to some of the music of the piece with Ron Cohen, her former choir director at John F. Kennedy High School on Long Island.
