The electronic dance music group Delhi 2 Dublin is based in Canada, and formed six years ago. The group’s name implies a fusion of Indian and Irish music, but TarunNayar, one of the members, says “over the last two years we’ve become a lot less concerned about trying to make everything Irish and Indian. Now we just kind of make music that we like.” Their website describes the sound best: “Where else are you going to see a kick-ass fiddle player rocking out with a kilt-wearing Korean flanked by two bouncing Bhangra percussionists and a vocalist who looks like he would be at home in a Bollywood music video?”
