Protests across the country are calling for an end to police brutality — and many are ending in arrests.

More than 100 demonstrators gathered at the Bexar County Courthouse Tuesday evening for another protest in honor of George Floyd. After five hours of peaceful protest, the demonstrators found themselves in conflict again with San Antonio Police.

As testing in San Antonio increases, so have cases. However, the city has reached a major milestone now that 60% of confirmed cases have recovered.

Alamo Plaza To Close Nightly In San Antonio

Officials with the City of San Antonio announced the Alamo Plaza will be closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic during the hours of 8:30 p.m. to 6 a.m. It will close nightly until Sunday, June 7.
