Jeremey Young is from the Midwest, but this year he moved to San Antonio, Texas. His new holiday tradition is making tamales.
"It’s my new holiday tradition because my girlfriend is Hispanic, and her family has made tamales for every generation probably back to forever, and so we are making tamales this year as a team, as a family," says Young.
"They are delicious, but it also seems like it’s a lot more effort than I think food should take. We’ve made two and a half dozen so far, and I’ve already worked up an appetite to eat the entire two and a half dozen probably. Easily. They’re small."
Since tasting the finished tamales, Jeremey admits that they are well worth all the hard work.
