The Source: What Is The Future Of Water In Texas?

As the state legislative session rolls on, water is never far off the agenda. State Representative Lyle Larson from San Antonio says water will be his priority as acting chair of the Texas House Natural Resources Committee.

Should we be planning for the next drought? Can we protect Texas cities from water infrastructure problems? What's ahead in terms of conservation efforts? Why should growing cities like San Antonio pay attention to the land-water connection?

How should we be thinking about the future for water-related issues in Texas and especially in San Antonio, during this time of rapid development?
