A manuscript that was once 70,000 words charting the life of Ray Benson and the rise of his inconic band Asleep At The Wheel, was recently published - significantly pared, down of course. "Comin Right At Ya" is a walk through music history, be it rock or western swing, country or bluegrass. Ray Benson and Asleep at the Wheel have seen it all and played everywhere. We talk with the Philadelphia-born musician about his 45 years at the helm of one of the most prolific performing bands of the 20th century and his endeavor to become a Texan.
