The Source: La Raza Is In The National Spotlight

Federal Judge Gonzalo Curiel has faced down death threats from Mexican drug cartels - but now he's facing something that could be even more intense, the glare of the right-wing media. They say he can't be a federal judge because he has a connection of some sort of La Raza.

Judge Curiel is presiding over theTrump University fraud case and GOP presumptive nominee said he's unfair to him because he's a Mexican.

But now it's all about La Raza. What is La Raza? And why after decades, does America still know so little about the Chicano Movement?

Guests:

  • Felipe Hinojosa, assistant professor of history at Texas A&M University, author of the book "Latino Mennonites"
  • O. Ricardo Pimentel, columnist at the San Antonio Express-News
