Severe thunderstorms pushed through South Central Texas again Wednesday night including San Antonio, producing heavy rains, gusty winds, and some hail.
The National Weather Service reports some of the largest hail in San Antonio was in the Sea World area at 2.5 inches in diameter. Some fences were also knocked over by thunderstorm gusts in the same area.
CPS Energy reported 285 power outages affecting 25,000 customers in the immediate wake of the storm. Here is a map of the outages.
One weather spotter reported quarter-sized hail covered the ground in the Kerrville area.
Some of the highest thunderstorm winds were recorded around Fredericksburg at 80 miles an hour.
