First Phase Of Alamo Plaza Redesign Slated To Start In December

After years of planning and protests, work on the $450 million Alamo Plaza redesign is expected to begin next month.

The initial phase, dubbed "Project One," includes the controversial Cenotaph relocation, expansion of a pedestrian-friendly space on the plaza's south side, and development of an Alamo museum.
