Charlie Parker Knew He Had An Imposter

Michael Cirlos III

In 1994, 13 year-old Nicholas Barclay disappeared from his home in San Antonio. A little over three years later, authorities thought they found him in Spain.  Private investigator Charlie Parker wasn’t so sure, but the more he questioned, the less people wanted to listen.

Seven minutes just isn't enough time for this caper. Nathan Cone interviews Charlie here. You can also check out the award-winning documentary "The Imposter" that goes through the whole case and features interviews with Charlie and Frederic Bourdin.

This story was recorded at Brick at the Blue Star Arts Complex on 2.6.18 as part of our show "Cheaters. You can connect with Worth Repeating by email at WorthRepeating@tpr.orgor follow on Twitter @Wrepeating.
