Queer Crafternoon

Queer Crafternoon

San Antonio Public Library is hosting an online space for people to listen to stories as they explore their creativity. So come and play with pastels, knit with nonchalance, delight in doodling! In fact, as long as it gets your creativity flowing, whether it’s sewing or Sudoku, feel free to join in. While everyone is welcome, this program is designed to be a safe space for members of the queer community. Each week we’ll play a podcast or excerpts from books with queer-centered storylines or queer characters. You can listen and craft, strike up a conversation about that week’s current audio selection, or swap tips with a fellow crafter. The listening selections will be posted a week ahead of time on the LGBTQ+ LibGuide (guides.mysapl.org/lgbtq) along with information about the book or podcast as well as any potential content warnings. Register through the events calendar at mysapl.org! ***Registration is required***
