The Tempest Trio

This month, TPR presents a three-week series of broadcasts drawn from the San Antonio Chamber Music Society’s 2013-2014 series.  The one-hour programs will be broadcast on Saturday nights at 7:00 on KPAC 88.3 FM and KTXI 90.1 FM.

The series begins on March 15 with the Tempest Trio, favorably compared to the great Rubenstein-Heifetz-Piatigorsky trio of the 1940s, performing Dvorak's "Trio No. 3 in F minor" which was programmed as part of San Antonio’s city-wide Dvorak Festival. Early Music is the focus of the American Brass Quintet’s program on March 22, and you’ll hear Beethoven and Haydn played by the Modigliani Quartet on March 29.

Thanks to the San Antonio Chamber Music Society for making the broadcast of these concerts possible on KPAC.
