John Leguizamo came up in the theater and stand-up scenes of 1980s New York, but his first big film role was as Luigi in the the movie Super Mario Brothers, and, according to him, after three decades of film, TV, theater, and activism, he's just about made up for that. His latest project is VOCES American Historia: The Untold History of Latinos, which premieres September 27th on PBS
