Grocery Stores Reconsider Bans On Reusable Bags

Some states and cities put their single-use plastic bag bans on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic, as grocery stores banned reusable shopping bags.

But science doesn’t support fears — and the plastic industry’s claims — that reusable bags are more likely to spread the coronavirus than single-use plastics. Julie Grant of The Allegheny Front reports.
