Art at Our Doorstep: San Antonio Writers and Artists
From Trinity University Press comes Art at Our Doorstep: San Antonio Writers and Artists. The book pays tribute to the city's vibrant creative community. A gathering of both literary and visual art, the book features poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction from writers who are closely associated with the city or who have been in years past. Accompanying the writing are works of art by San Antonio artists. The images don’t simply illustrate the text, but instead complement it in an associative or aesthetic sense, and all were selected by Riley Robinson, one of the city’s best-known curators. An engaging combination of literary and artistic excellence, this handsome coffee-table book celebrates in words and images the city of San Antonio and its creative spirit.
