Kerr County Sesquicentennial Moments

Texas Public Radio's KTXI 90.1 FM, in conjunction with Schreiner University, is recognizing the Kerr County Sesquicentennial during the month of September.  Each weekday, KTXI is broadcasting 90-second accounts of various aspects of Kerr Country history called Kerr County Sesquicentennial Moments in the 7 a.m. hour during Morning Edition and in the 4 p.m. hour during All Things Considered.

Four Kerr County personalities are presenting the segments including Schreiner University’s President Dr. Tim Summerlin, Vice President for Administration and Finance, Dr. Fred Gamble; and Professor of English, Dr. Kathleen Hudson.  Mr. Joe Herring, Kerrville Daily Times columnist, rounds out the quartet from Kerr County.  Texas Public Radio's Nathan Cone also narrates.
