Culture Club, one of the many podcasts offered by Texas Public Radio, is for the young and the young at heart. Each program will feature stories about arts, music and culture in San Antonio and the surrounding areas. From time to time, there will also be interviews and music reviews of local bands and musicians.
About the Host
Abra Schnur was born and raised in San Antonio. While attending San Antonio College, she spent three years working for their college radio station KSYM. Upon graduating she began working for Texas Public Radio as a part time announcer. Currently Abra is part of the Texas Public Radio news department and reports mainly on arts and culture. Abra is dedicated to attracting younger generations to public radio. While not working at Texas Public Radio, Abra is working at CD Exchange as a “wannabe” music snob, walking her dog, Mira Radar, enjoying friends and attending local and national concerts.
