For thirteen weeks, beginning Sunday, Feburary 3, The Cliburn Winners radio series will take a closer and broader look at the performances and careers of the outstanding pianists who have been Gold, Silver and Bronze Medalists, Finalists and Semifinalists at the prestigious Van Cliburn International Piano Competition leading up to the 2009 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition. This special series is hosted by Buddy Bray and is distributed by WFMT in Chicago.

The competition is slated to commence on May 22, 2009 in Fort Worth, Texas.
