We Want Your Questions: Texas 2018 Primary Elections

Texas Station Collaborative

Texas voters will soon decide who appears on November's general election ballot.

But the March primaries work a little differently from general elections, and Texas consistently has among the lowest voter turnout during these pre-general election elections.

Case-in-point: Even with a battle over presidential nominations playing out during a historic 2016 election, only 21 percent of Texas voters turned out.

So, we want to help by making participation in the primaries as easy as possible for you, the voters.

For the latest in our Texas Decides project, we want your questions about primary elections — how they work, how to vote in them, what they mean and why they are the way they are.

Submit your question below and we'll answer as many of them as possible before Election Day on March 6.
