In the first segment:
The backlash from the non-discrimination ordinance continues to play out here in San Antonio. While anti-NDO advocates were unable to force a citywide vote for the policy -- failing to garner even half the required signatures -- recall efforts for the mayor and several council members who voted for the policy continue.
In addition, one group has been lodging ethics complaints across the state against left-leaning candidates and issues and has taken aim at San Antonio.
San Antonio Currentreporter Mary Tuma joins us to talk about her investigation into the Texas Ethics Advisory Board, the political action committee behind the complaints.

In the second segment:
The National Security Agency has gone from public outcry to public outcry as its dirty laundry has been left out to dry by former contractor Edward Snowden. Little did we know their international program was so much more robust than their domestic...and embarrassing.
With the presidents of Mexicoand Brazilboth claiming the agency has snooped their emails, listened to their phones and a litany of other offenses, last week the president of France summoned our ambassador over allegations that French civilians phones were tapped and being recorded.
What does this mean for our image abroad? Are we "big brother" to the world in their eyes? What about our ongoing diplomatic and economic missions?
Joining us to talk about this is Georgetown Professor of Political Science Charles Kupchan. Kupchan was also director of European affairs on President Bill Clinton's National Security Council.
Cynthia Arnson, director of the Latin American program at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, also joins us.
