Texas Public Radio presents the 9th annual AccessAbility Fest from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, November 8, 2015, at El Mercado. The event is free and open to the public. AccessAbility Fest brings together businesses and organizations to share information, resources, ideas and support for people with all types of disabilities and special needs. The Fest celebrates these individuals and aims to provide them with a fun-filled and educational day that will be memorable. Caregivers of individuals with special needs and disabilities will find support and resource information to benefit them and their loved ones.The schedule of activities for AccessAbility Fest 2015 includes demonstrations, entertainment, a mascot parade, games and much more. And since it is happening just a few days after Halloween, attendees are encouraged to wear their costumes. Finalists will be selected to participate in the costume contest, where they will compete for fun and valuable prizes. Ample parking is available in close proximity, and shuttle buses are provided for those in need. AccessAbility Fest 2014 Is October 26th

You're invited to the 8th Annual AccessAbility Fest, San Antonio’s premier resource fair for individuals of all abilities, takes place at El Mercado on Sunday, October 26th, 2014 from 10am-3pm. This free, family-friendly event spotlights programs and services provided by institutions supporting individuals of all abilities, including those with physical, developmental, sensory and/or mental health challenges.

Come and enjoy fun activities, and learn about new information and and resources available to support persons with disabilities and their families. The festival is FREE and OPEN for the public to attend. You're also encouraged to wear your Halloween costumes and enjoy family-friendly trick-or-treating.
