Cultural Exchange Between San Antonio and Mexico Planned for 2010

January 19, 2010 · This year, two historical events in Mexico's history will be observed in a cultural exchange between the City of San Antonio and Mexico.  2010 will mark the bicentennial of Mexico's 1810 Independence from Spain and the centennial of Mexico's 1910 Revolution.  

The City of San Antonio, through the Office of Cultural Affairs, has partnered with  Mexico and the Instituto Cultural de Mexico in San Antonio to schedule year long events marking of Mexico's 1810 and 1910 historical events.   

The events will include art and photography exhibits, music and dance performances, fashion shows and film screenings.
