December 9, 2009 · Shake-ups continue at CPS Energy.
Last night board chair Aurora Geis issued a statement announcing her intention to resign.
The resignation comes after several weeks of clashes with City Hall over the leadership of the municipally owned energy company.
A few weeks ago, the San Antonio Express-News uncovered a scandal over not disclosing the true cost estimate of the South Texas Nuclear Project expansion to city leaders.
Geis steps down from the CPS Energy board after eight years. She speaks to Texas Public Radio's David Martin Davies just before her resignation plans were announced.
