The 25th anniversary edition of Sandra Cisnero's The House on Mango Street

December 7, 2009 · As 2009 comes to close, so also does the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the publishing of The House on Mango Street, by Sandra Cisneros.
The House on Mango Street is a modern American literary classic. It has been translated into dozens of languages and is taught in classrooms across the world.
Cisneros has a reading on Wednesday at 6 p.m. at the Twig Bookshop at The Pearl Brewery, 200 E Grayson, Suite 124.
Later this month is Sandra’s 55th birthday celebration which will raise money for the Macondo Foundation.
