November 23, 2009 · Recently the Artist Foundation of San Antonio announced eleven winners of grants for local art projects.
San Antonio poet Pablo Miguel Martinez was one of those winners. He was also singled out for an addional award and special recognition.
He was given the 2009 Robert L.B. Tobin Prize for Artist Excellence.
Martinez is also a professor of English at Our Lady of the Lake University. He joined us in the studio to discuss his award winning project and his poetry.
