Three Chances To Hear Holiday In Blue

The USAF Band of the West's Concert Band & Various Ensembles perform this weekend at Edgewood ISD Theatre of Performing Arts, 607 SW 34th Street in San Antonio.

The free concerts are:

Friday, December 7th at 7:00 p.m.
Saturday, December 8th at 3:00 p.m.
Sunday, December 9th at 3:00 p.m.

Tickets may be printed from their website or picked up from the Lackland AFB and Randolph AFB ITT offices, Ft. Sam Houston MWR office, and the Fiesta Commission Office.

Second year for band and symphony to collaborate!

This Veteran's Day, music from Leonard Bernstein, John Phillip Sousa, and George Gershwin will fill the Majestic Theatre as the San Antonio Symphony is joined by the US Air Force's Band of the West.

"We'll use some of their players, they'll use some of our players, and we will all join together for Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture!" said Captain Mike Hoerber, adding that it is a great way to continue the mission of the band.
