Texas Public Radio (TPR) continues its signature KSTX Town Hall series with a community conversation that examines the Voting Rights Act of 1965 and its relevancy in today’s dramatic political climate. The forum takes place on Tuesday, March 20, at the Pearl Full Goods Studio, 200 E. Grayson St., Suite 105. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. The discussion begins at 7 p.m.

This Friday, StoryCorps will feature a San Antonio couple during its weekly segment on NPR’s Morning Edition, airing locally on Texas Public Radio’s KSTX 89.1 FM.

On September 2010, Mayor Julián Castro announced the SA2020 initiative, an ambitious plan to transform San Antonio into a world class city while holding on to the qualities that makes our city special.  SA2020 lays out a set of guiding visions in the areas of arts and culture, health and fitness, education, downtown development, economic competitiveness, and transportation, among other areas.
